Should US strike In Syria?

http://gazetikenya.blogspot.com/2013/08/should-us-strike-in-syria.html

After investigations were carried out about use of nuclear weapons by Syrian Regime the US government is ready to strike. What your opinion? Do u think the US goverment has any business to interfere with sovereignty of a nation.

Am human and i would never praise any inhuman acts like what is happening in Syria, its over two years now and more 100,000 lives have been lost already. At what point will ASSAD realize that the people of Syria want a change? What is UN doing? Should it be disbanded? In Kenya in 2007 only about 1,100 lives were lost this sparked worldwide attention but in Syria what is the world doing about it?

I totally do not agree with US intervention, I will not like to see the repeat of what happened in Iraq and Libya. These two nations are yet to build their economies. In Libya its sad that Gaddafi was killed in a cold blood and on a broad day light, he should have been given a fair trial and thats not how you treat a former head of state even though he might have been a dictator he deserved some respect.

The Us government should be trade cautiously against sparking another war, why do we have to spend more money on war rather than making peace? There is always room for dialogue. The US government can use its VETO Power in UN to try to stop the war but not be directly involved.

Is Shollei Guilty or Not?

Is Shollei Guilty or Not? What your view?

I have a feeling that she is guilt and she should be fired, even though the investigation are underway. She moved to court to stop the investigation and also dares to appear before a parliamentary committee to claim that some commissioners in Judicial service commission do not like her. Its a lame excuse to say so, I have a feeling that she might be another Nancy Barasa and will probably loose her Job. The bottom line we don't care who like or hates her, all we want to know is if taxpayers money was misused?

If i were the president just for one day i would be ruthless with anyone who messes with public money, Like i would order for a life imprisonment or chopping of hands for those who commit economic crimes, involved in corruption or misuse of taxpayers Money.

Read more about the all time Court ruling.

We would have never ruled in favour of the Former Prime Minister, A win should be on the ballot and not in court.- Supreme court.

The ruling was made but the questions that remain unanswered, Should we trust the Courts? was it a fair ruling? Always the ghost from the past will always come to haunt us.

If a win is  never determined in court how come a Governor loses a seat in Siaya, who made that decision?

Anyway i have no political affiliation but download your copy and get your facts straight. I have no ambition to campaign for anyone.

I will be posting a Phone number which we will contribute(We do not have a limit as to how much you should Contribute) towards ensuring that we receive a copy of the newspaper.

Why the Laptop Project might fail to take off in the first Three years.

Why the Laptop Project Might be a Flaw or may take more than Three Years to be fully implemented. Its a very ambitious Project.

The teachers – They are still in the stone age(I dont mean to be rude but the teachers still use chalk and a blackboard or white paper boards to teach). How will the teacher be able to teach students when they have no idea about what a computer does?If you naively ask them, they will probably tell you its a TV Set that does not have an aerial, Very funny but we cant blame them we are in another generation.

The students - Why would you teach a six year old how to use a laptop when they dont even know how to phrase a sentence in English or Swahili. Second it will probably take time before the students get used to using a computer. The first time I used a computer was when I was 14, it took about a year before I knew how to use one. When was your first time to use a computer?

Tax payers Money- The budget for the laptops is a recurrent expenditure(Its estimated to be over 500 Billion i stand to be corrected) that means every year we will be spending money on laptops that the teachers and students don't even know how to use. This money can be PUT TO BETTER USE. We cannot have a revolution but an evolution, its will probably take time before the teachers and students understand how to use a laptop, with this in mind we can buy time by spending the money on the important matters.

If the government sought my opinion this is what I would tell them.
We do not need laptops for every child, what we need are well equiped digital labs with well trained instructors(Fresh graduates) To teach the Children and the teachers. If you consider this idea you will be saving on recurent expenditure and the learning will be smooth and efficient.”

Moving to the East Has a Price

We are happy to hear about the visits in East, we are having lunch and dinner with partners who will help us build our infrastructure and labour. We will probably build more superhighways which will be continuation of the Kibaki Legacy.

All in all we may be doing the right thing but let us not openly show that we are moving from the west, lets stop being proud and face the fact that majority of our exports go to the west(Even though they buy our coffee and tea and brand as their own), the east grow their own tea and coffee and buy almost (import) nothing from us.

A clear warning is what happened to ban on Miraa exports, people have lost Jobs and Source of income. Common mwanchi has to pay about Ksh 400,000 to get a Visa, we would be proud and say our safe Heaven are down here and we do not need to travel, but what about students who want to further their studies? The question is, Are we paying a price?

The East tend to be more friendly and honest while the west tend to be harsh with aid that has strings attached, The west should change and become aware that we are free to make our own choices, we can always work together without conditions. As much as we move to East we still need the west.

Three reasons why You are not winning....... Its Politics, its dirty.

As we wait for a new source of the newspaper i have decided to write a little bit about politics. Please note that this post is not ment for cheap applauds, making friends or enemies, its my thoughts and opinions i  expect you to hate or Like. Its just three reasons why You are not winning, Its Politics, its dirty i hope this post finds you in good time(i.e. Before the Next election- I would probably save you money you could have spent on a political analyst or strategist).

1.Never Conceding Defeat- If you ever go to a battle, your enemy crashes you probably with a crude weapon and wins, you should be man enough and accept the temporary defeat. Accepting your opponent won whether he or she used dirty tricks does not make you weak but makes you think and strategize on your next move, build your weak points and probably turn them to your strongholds.

2.Playing cards in the Open- If you are to win a poker game then you better be good at folding a good hand. If you want to beat your opponent always hold your cards close to your chest always keep your opponents guessing your next move.

3. Always on the wrong side- If you are always on the wrong side of the road you are very likely to be hit by a bus. If you are always against the system then how do you expect the system to work in your favour?
