Masaku 7'S Photos and 30/06/2014 Newspaper.

Over the weekend i unexpectedly went for the masaku after party and no i was not stuck in traffic. i hear people who left nairobi at 12 pm were still stuck in traffic by 6pm.....well i left at 8pm n arrived some time before 10pm. it pays to know how to skin a cat 1000 times..i no 3 routes to machakos while most people know the mombasa road route.know different ways to skin that cat.

i arrived expecting to see women clad in bikini and hotpants because they think that being hot during the day machakos is also warm at night. what i saw was pregnant women and the ladies you see on a typical westlands rave night. cometh the day cometh the hour. when that night wore on temperatures dropped to single digits n thats when cardboard boxes became currency for the bonfire. you could have easily had your way with the lasses had you some cardboard boxes.
i arrived there when there was traffic and i left the same kilometres of traffic there. then comes these group on social media who trolled away and demanded pictures.. too bad they dint come in numbers.
they ban suarez for 4 months and this has to be unfair for liverpool because it hurts them more and they had nothing to do with it. they must cut their losses and offload him to real madrid where he will get wasted. talk about good business. it seems that this world cup is going my way.. who would have thought that at the 84th minute netherlands would win that match in regular time?
be a time beater today and have a great week

Re: it all comes down

back in campus these are the instances you would here that the times are so harsh that you cant even calculate the gradient of the month.
in an effort to remain clueless politically i have managed to refrain from watching news and i start reading the newspaper from the back. its not as effective though because all that surround me is politics. if not the queue at the AG's office then its in the bus.
if we spent a lot more time productively than counter-productively we would have gone the belgian and the northern ireland way.
these 2 countries have successfully managed to kick politics to the back seat. for instance belgium went without a government for 290 days strong and the citizens went about their duties. nobody fought, nobody called a rally or mass action, no one had to be pampered to accept national dialogue.
this is what i would say as one of those things being in the mind. i am sure our forefathers did well without theses politics as i am sure we would do well without.
a saying goes that to bed you a man will do anything but once its over its every one for themselves. this is especially the case when it comes to the constitution when governments lauded it as one of the most democratic. you would think that they would be with us in this harsh times...but still we have that priceless thing called hope
i am happy algeria went through at the expense of the highest paid coach at the tournament..to those going to machakos travel safe and if by chance you happen to sneeze mumble these words...MBAKEEE YA MUTISO

Re: the kenyan suarez

the pampered lot of 1200+ strong individuals who hold the counties ransom have really stressed that man Cheserem...he ought to have known better and stayed in retirement after leaving the post of CBK governor. This is the same man whose daughter was appointed to the committee of experts after some "thorough" vetting. well mr.cheserem that is what you get for being a recyclee of the power guard.
i once heard someone claim they heard "muk" after a heavy binge drinking confess that it had been forced on him and that now the were trying to milk it dry while he was concerned about the peoples welfare. if it so he should consider himself lucky because while others are being forced with poverty, hunger and such he is being forced with the proverbial good stuff
onto more important matters i dont subscribe to the feeling that the eurobond's success is a good for our country. when it comes to internal affairs i would rather the neighbours not know what goes on in my house thus when i need to borrow i would rather do it from a relative than a friend because one day when you borrow to0 much that friend may come to claim your house.
in the on going tournament nigeria prove that"messi ni jina na jina ni wewe".they fought hard though in the end they looked comfortable with the result. its time we stop this issue of settling and struggle.
i will not delve into the suarez issue for obvious reasons but do pray that ghana go through

Re: dont be incited

over the past week their have been whispers that the luo community have been tol to pack up and leave before 7/7/14.(i dont sugarcoat and i dont like how these media houses do it you have something to say then say it)
what i dont get is why luos?did all luos vote for raila? have the luos chased away your kinsmen who trade happily in luoland?
the arrogant ones you see on social media are always tucked in safely behind a computer using abusive words and intimidating remarks.so my challenge to you who wants to evict people from their sweat from a land that probably u never had, a land that you will leave behind when you move on and depending on the type of descendants you have may or may not remain within your lineage, my challenge is this if you have issues with someone sit down with that person and talk with them. before you go out carrying out vengeful attacks against any community ask yourself this questions
would your offspring be happy to be associated with a bully?
these politicians that you defend will they fight for you on that d-day when angels come, bowls of anger are spewing and the rider on the white horse has a sword?
when you chase and kill people do their relatives not weep just as yours would do?
and finally these media houses that show content that are inflammatory are the same individuals who are invited out to a meal by the same politician and are bribed to bury a story that involves the politician and his nonsensical rendezvous...

so sad that pirlo will not get to realize his dream..if you dont belive me youtube pirlo then wait and see..congrats to costa rica n uruguay..have a gdday

Re: keep calm but be worried

in a country dominated by politics i think we are a very calm people. first came the plan to equip mps' with assistants, security and secretaries....we kept mum. then came the plan to pay former dictators and economists in the name of former presidents..we stil keep quiet...this albeit the fact that these individuals use our treasury as a cash gow and milk it so dry yet the incumbent always sees ways(download here) of continuing to milk. most recently the mcas' have joined the bandwagon of having assistants secretaries and security  and still being the drinking, tolerant and ignorant people that we are we will still act as if none of this affects us.
the typical response would be to act in a manner that makes these individuals terrified of running for political office but we glorify and hold them in high regard making me question our moral capability.
is it that we are afraid of torture chamber and such? it is in this breath that that i adore our brothers in arabic countries such as algeria and egypt of yesteryears would not stand for this...their would have been efforts to ensure that the government is in check.
i am sure if mutunga the activist saw mutunga the current he would have shot himself decades ago.
am haapy for the desert foxes as they look to progress to the last 16..it seems we will have to wait with baited breath to see if ghana and ivory coast go through and make this dark continent of ours go through in an 80 percent show. have a terrific tuesday

When to think. Daily Nation 23/06/2014

I believe you had a good weekend and that as opposed to tradition monday blues are a thing of the past.last week some arrogant CS decided to deny the fact that we are a starving nation and instead later turns to admit later on that actually 40% of the harvest goes to waste.
Can someone explain to me in baby terms how it is that when infrastucture get spoilt in posh neighbourhoods usually kanjo are on standby to repair, not long ago i was in karen and i observed 2 whole trucks with a crew of about 15 people repair a pothole. its not as if the pothole had swallowed a car hole or that some rich kid had fallen inside...had the government afforded such treatment to the food basket of the country then maybe the amount of harvest being wasted would not exist and the number of people sleeping hungry would be fewer.

In other news as i predicted download here to read about how divock origi is a star now. i can comfortably predict that Belgium will not make it past the semis and neither will Netherlands who are looking eagerly to draw against chile so as to avoid Brazil.
if i were to predict the final four i would say brazil, germany, netherlands an as for the fourth team thats a wildcard, go to your daily hustle and stop having monday blues.

Five people Gunned Down in Mpeketoni. Daily Nation 20/06/2014

The military apparently gunned down 5 mpeketoni attackers 3 days after their henious attack. i am no scientist but if you go do a crime somewhere you dont stay around and watch the aftermath of your attacks.
second being in possesion of AK-47.download here does not necessarily mean you are a threat. it may be that after your village was attacked you see it fit to defend your people. or it may be the other thing that they are blaming them for.

whether they were the attackers or not we will never know. After all i am sure if there is an inquiry the national security committee will defend the soldiers actions. wasn't the chair the one who affirmed that the boys were simply quenching their thirst....in the 'middle' of a rescue operation.

Many think that the elected leader has no effect whatsoever on their life and often you hear "hata haniekei nyama kwa sahani" so we along tribal and prestige lines. i beg to differ with this abnormalism because for a fact the alleged leader determines how much more or less meat you have on your plate and how much you eat it (if only economics was made a basic and compulsory subject). the end to my rant is...were you living in 1995 with the income you have now..how many more or less times would you be eating meat per week..

Raila rejects plea to call off cord rallies. Daily Nation 19/06/2014

Raila rejects plea to call off cord rallies despite the situation in the country though it maybe due to the president's refusal to dialogue. Just because they want to dialogue does not mean mkate nusu. meanwhile the bickering continues as a boy's body is found in JKIA premises so sad.download here

They continue to search for oil in Kenya making their drills happy while months(i think years) after finding oil(i simply refuse to accept,  its an African who does it) Turkana is yet to have an impact on the livelihood of PEOPLE living around the oil wells.

Cameroon were humiliated but thankfully people will be looking as Spains exit the world cup, the first champions to loose in the first round,  Lets look more critically at song's field tactics. two reds, too many penalties and too many divers (read fred) in this tournament. i feel sad because of the direction football is taking. you just cant tackle anyone anymore...they dive and you see red.

Cord has no powers to demand a sitting government to dialogue

I think the former prime minister does not get it, we are not 2007 and I guess the idea of a coalition government has crossed his mind, but the truth, it never going to happen.

There is a difference between coming from a position of power and having no power at all where sometimes you tend to believe you have the power of the crowd. It has been proved over the years that there is no such a thing like wisdom of crowds, they are just followers and fans who fancy & admire you.

Real fans are die hard, people who are ready and willing to fight for you, Don’t spend most of your time in stadium preaching the change and future we want in Kenya, be part of the change and if you want to be in this hot seat the you need a plan, nobody is going to give you this seat on a silver platter, No one will ever give you because you might have the imagination that you its deserve it, You should be able to think hard, have a big plan and start taking action rather than rallies that create fear and anxiety.

I know you might not like my sentiments but everyone is entitled to their opinion, I don’t see the need for dialogue with the sitting government, for the record am not a jubilee supporter, I will only support the government after the Two Leaders have been cleared the pending cases in ICC, I will always support what I feel is right for my country without taking sides.

Some words to Cord, Stop making noise about a lost election, nobody cares about that particular Election. We have moved on. The IEBC should be disbanded, we agree with you on this issue, we wonder why it took so long to notice, after every election we usually disband the commission and we create jobs so keep pushing on that angle we want those guys to go home so we can have vacant posts for guys who have good papers.

"Why should you threaten me and think am going to be scared, i survived the 1982 coup, i dodged Moi all this years even though he kept me at Nyayo Chambers, Its a pain in my heart and i will bring to justice all those who were involved in it. Its the fear that Moi has everyday thats why he will never want me to be in power. My letter to the sitting president.Daily Nation - June 5, 2014

"Uhuru, Ruto pay cuts delayed by legal hitch"

My letter to the sitting president.

Please stop wasting our money on adverts on our media, that's misuse of public funds to try to emphasize the point that you are still in control, We do not doubt that and we still believe in you even though we cannot ignore there was controversy when it came to how you we declared the president.

We have accepted and moved on and there is nothing to fear of cos nobody is going to impeach you. The money spent on creating such an advert about what you are going to do, does not change anything about the security situation in the country, its total waste of time and public resources. I like the idea of state of art technology to combat security but am a skeptic to say that it might be in vision 2030. The government has not been able to adopt technology at that rate, most of our system are still analogue. How comes we cannot process documents online? How come most of government websites are so ugly, rarely updated and difficult to navigate?

I would have saved you millions of taxpayers' money, Invest in intelligence and don't tell the world how you are going to do it, cos if The Alshabaab watched that advert they are likely to move to the next phase of crime where they will use Face masks that will beat your idea of face recognition software.  The department of intelligence has failed in their duties they should detect and alert the government of any pending attacks, the best move to take is probably sent Gichagi – Head of intelligence service packing.  My last word is " We do not need stories about how you are going to fix things, all we want to hear that, we have measures in place and the enemy will not launch any attack on Kenyan soil"
